My MGW Shifter broke

Not saying it could not break, but, is that the actual shift handle you got from MGW? This is a pic of the shift handle meant for a stock shift **** that came with mine....Sure don't look the same....???? Did you buy the shifter new from MGW?

thats what mine looks like too. hmm. I think either.
A- its an early shifter and MGW made major improvements or..
B- its not an MGW or someone cobbled it up.. something ain't right there

HEY GUYS,
you simply have an early build shifter and we have since eliminated the rubber sleeve as it was overkill and not needed. simply call julie or peggy monday and they can send you out a new shaft and bracket free of charge. we had some issues with it not staying tight but frankly never saw one break. but no worries the new shaft will NOT break :P
