Default My MGW Shifter broke

Well while driving today, my shifter broke. Were the handle shaft connects to the mgw block piece, the silver metal liner thing bent, and split open, making my entire shifter come out. Made it very difficult to drive home. Shifter kept coming out. For now I just took a hammer and hit the piece back on, and bent it back with pliers. But I intend on calling mgw and seeing if they can send me another shifter handle. Anyone else have this problem?

Man it was such a pain getting that handle back on. Cause the silver part has to be a perfect circle in order for it to fit right in the black square thing. Took a few hits with the hammer, but hopefully I fixed it for now. I'm gonna be pissed if it comes out again, while I'm driving to school.

Hmmm. I had one of the 1st ones to go out, and I think I was the 2nd person to have it installed. Still working on all original parts, none of the upgraded/updated parts with zero issues from day one.
Looking forward to an update on the situation.
