Same here, I'm a college student, and been
saving for quite a while for a Paxton from
brenspeed. I'll probably get it sometime next
month!! Can't wait!

How do you like yours?

Here is an idea (lil OT sorry) what if the government gave the 700 billion to the people of this great nation instead of the banks that allowed all those ARM's to adj knowing full well that the homeowners could not afford the balloon payment (s)? I figure all homeowners in the country would receive 400,000 dollars a piece......now back on topic that would pay for your FI and a nice house and pay off the car! No monthly payment needed -JMO

sorry resume discussion

I'll tell you on wed. when I pick up the car from the shop haha, I'm sure it's gonna be amazing, I ordered from brenspeed on monday and had everything that friday. they are really nice and helpful guys, just a couple things though, def upgrade to the brisk plugs and if you can afford it definentally upgrade to the gt500 pumps instead of the boost a pump.

Yeah, I was actually thinking about
upgrading to the GT500 fuel pumps,
I figure I could get a deal on it since
I already have a tuner so that would
lower the price a bit.

What about the plugs? What's better
about the Brisk?
How much of a difference did you pay
to get the better plugs and fuel pumps?

I've heard from alot of forum members that the brisk plugs just have that little extra pull, the plugs were just a 26 dollar upgrade and with the gt500 fuel system and the steeda heavy duty belt tensioner the total was right around 5600 bucks. Not to bad for such a great kit and great service

Thanks for the great info, I'm glad
I read this before I got the kit!
I'll be upgrading to the GT500 fuel pumps,
brisk spark plugs, and probably the HD belt tensioner.

Did that price include a tuner?
or did you already have one?

I have a tuner, so I was thinking they'd
drop at least $300.

My philosophy (which has served me well) is if you can't pay cash then you can't afford it... besides, with the condition the economy is in do you really think it's wise to get further in debt?
I live in the woodlands, where did your friends get the install done at and how much did it cost tghem?

no such thing as monthly payments for a turbo. you mean like layaway? lol. only monthly payments is if you by it with a credit card. and like everyone said, the interests will kill you.

Why pay $4,000 + the extra $1,000 in interest for something that won't earn you a dime? Or are you racing for $$$?
If you want to go fast buy a faster car, there are lots of them out there for cheaper than your V-6.
