Window problem
Well I'm not too happy that my first post here had to be a problem, but here it is.
I had the battery out of my 2005 convertible. While the battery was out I opened the driver's door. Now the window moves down to about three inches from the fully down position each time I try to raise the window all the way up. I have tried to calibrate the window according to the directions in the owners manual and it will not reset. I also tried disconnecting the battery again to get the calibration to reset, but that did not work either.
Does anyone know how to get this reset?

Re-read the manual and follow it again step-by-step. If I recall, you have to have the door closed when you perform the procedure. I've never had the problem so I really can't help.
The problem is in the motor controls that are mounted on the actual window motor.
It is replaced as a - very expensive - assembly. If you are still under warranty,
I would head to the stealership with your problem ASAP.
