so i got the billet hurst and freaking love it, but it rattles and it not the handle its the pivot ball has some play in it so it rattle like a f*cking pinball, anyway which other shifter has the shorts throw because i want somethign that feels like hurst but dont rattle like hurst, i was thinking roush maybe anyone help me please

 

so i called hurst and the tech said it is normal b/c of the polly bushing so it would happen with any shifter so i should just jump

 

I have a hurst comp with no issues. Check all the hardware.

 

doesnt happen with mine....you use locktite on everything just to be sure??

 

yea ill check the next time i go under maybe tomorrow but im pretty sure its the pivot ball

 

im thinking roush or b&m shifter they both are really short

 

I have no problem with mines either.

 

No other shifter is as short as the Hurst.
Try the non billet one...
Most of us have had good luck with it.
