ANyone else used GTS headlight covers?

I got the Lund tinted covers. You open the hood and snap them on, so they can't come off or be stolen.
You'll need to remove them at night to be legal in all states and if you're driving on roads without street lights you won't be able to see (or be seen) either covers or with tint on the headlights. Even the GT's center running lights won't be bright enough for driving down a suburban street at night if there's no street lights.
I use mine for show and for daytime highway driving. I'd rather not have my stock headlight plastic get chipped.

Orion -I like yours and what I don't like about the GTS is the fact that they have the GTS on them.....r they stickers and can be removed or apart of the plastic somehow? I have not had GTS covers since the 90's and they were so easy to put on and I just dealt with the GTS in white crap....

ya the GTS logos on them are stickers and are easily removed....
also, i DID in fact consider having my headlights painted with tinted clearcoat before getting the covers...
there are 2 reason i decided to get the covers instead:
1) if i get pulled over by a cop, i can pull the covers off and say "look, they are just covers" and get let off with a warning....
2) at night, i can pull them off:
A) so i can see at night
B) so my lights look all the same instead of 4 regular color and 2 a dull color (i have 6 lights up front so it'd look dumb if they didnt all match
with all of this in mind, i decided to use the covers...
it seems that i will still have to do some type of modification to the covers to get it to work with my setup...i have the midwest auto gear radiator covers extension covers so they probably wont "snap on" as readily as they should...
i might have to cut off the snap-clip part and use velcro somewhere on it so i can apply and remove them without have to remove anything else...
what do you all think?

I should have let you pop on my AVS covers along time ago to see if you liked the look, takes 10 seconds to snap them on. I painted mine though cause I dont like the transparent look and I take them off at night cause I cant see **** with them on and like you said your lights wil look dull and it makes the car look like the alternator is dying, lol
on a side not I got to hold off a day or 2 to send out those tail lights I need the car for a few things over next day or so so Ill send ya a pm when I send them out. thanks

I've had mine on continuously for almost a year now and they have not loosened or popped out. When I first got them, I did have a problem with the driver's side popping out on the highway... all I had to do was spend about $2 at autozone for some velcro strips.
I cut a few small strips/pieces and placed them on the inner corners. Worked like a charm.

No issues so far for me.
