Default New owner of an 09 GT

09 GT, M5, black, 18" polished rims. I have a few questions

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the GT? Definetly no mods, I want to keep my warranty Any information for a noob would be appreciated.

Recommendations please for a mufflers/catback and CAI?

I was in Las Vegas this past week and visited the Shebly plant, OMG To bad I can't afford 100k for a Shebly GT500KR They even had a Super Cobra, lucky bastard who owns that car! I would kill for a silver GT500KR with the blue racing strips, OMG, but the dealer markups on these cars are a crying shame. I don't have $40k just to donate to my local dealership and that's just for them, the car is another $60k.

TIA, David!

Congratulations and welcome to the family. There are many strengths. The only weakness is the rear end fishtails when the road is wet, so you have to be careful to not floor it in wet surfaces. I personally like the C&L CAI and flowmaster mufflers. Of course, you will get as many perferences as you get answers. There are so many aftermarket brands for Mustangs, it would be best to go to a car show featuring Mustangs to get some first hand experience with them.

LOL, thats funny. I too wonder how you can call a car 2009 when we are there yet. I guess Ford's invented the time machine and just hasn't told anyone about it yet....or all car companies for that matter!

Congrats Start going for the mods that aren't effected by your warranty and enjoy your new ride. Modding is what Stangs are all about.

There's no way I could not mod. Not having a warranty is worth the greatness from mods.

WARRANTY!? I DON'T NEED NO STEENKIN WARRANTY!!
