Default Fuel Gauge Reading Wrong?

The previous tank I think, but am not positive, that I had a couple of gallons stolen. I thought my gauge was reading between a quarter one night after work (With no warning indicator) and the next morning the warning said I only had 15 miles til empty. I filled up and it didn't take as much gas as I thought it should have...I wanna say it was like 8-9 gallons. The mileage checked out to be about 14 though, and I average 19, so I assumed I got jacked.

Today my indicator came on showing 47 miles til empty and the gauge was around an eighth of a tank. I stopped and filled up and it only took 7 gallons. My trip counter was only at 120, but I know I was late resetting the counter the last fill up so I figure the mileage was really about 130 or so...which checks out to about my correct mpg.

Whats going on? It wasn't like this previously, when every fill up would take 10+ gallons. Think I did have gas stolen and the jack offs damaged something?

if you aren't under warranty, will they still fix a TSB?

no not under warranty. they will fix it using the tsb but you will get charged for it if your not under warranty anymore. a tsb is not a recall so if your out of warranty it is on you to pay for the fix.
