I was going to get your PM, but I'll reply here instead.

The parking brake cable is routed through the opening in the stock LCA. It's required to detach the parking brake cable from where it mounts to the caliper to pull the LCA out. To remove, there is a c clip 1-2" below the end of the parking brake cable, which holds it to the caliper and keeps it from moving when the parking brake is engaged. Make sure you do not have the parking brake engaged. Pull that clip out with a park of pliers. Now pull the cable out of the holder, where it was being held in with the clip. This will allow you to unhook the parking brake cable.

You don't have to tie the cable to your LCA's, but it's a good idea. I didn't for quite some time and never had any problems. The ties TacoBill was talking about are just simple cable ties, or "zip ties". If you're using the BMR LCA's, you'll need long ones, or you can join 2 together.

Well said DarkFireGT. I used 2 "zipties" to attach the brake cable to the LCA. It just dangles there if not. Go to any home improvement, autoparts store, or wal-mart and you can find "zipties".
