I thought about painting mine also but im going to add carbon fiber to everything else and leave the silver panel in. I apinted my shiny rings around my a/c vents black cause I added other black accents in the interior, Ill post pics 2morow.

its possible to paint or use an SEM dye on the panels....the dye might actually hold up longer...you would definitely want to add some flex to any paint you spray on there...

depends which ones you have. the black ones are plastic, the silver ones i think are plastic also...the carbon fiber and GT500 look i have no clue about..the bullitt i believe is real metal....you have to remember these are all combos available:
