S197 minor problems.
First I got to say she has 30k miles, runs very good, very happy with it. Only thing is, there is a lot of little things that need to be fixed when I take it to ford. You guys have any similar problems to these???
1. Light switch stiff to operate.
2. Insulation shows where you look at the vin form the outside.
3. Insulation for outside weather stripping shows.
4. Drivers window make a small squeeking noise. ( It also doesnt come down all the way sometimes, 1/4 inch sticks out).
5. One of the speakers makes noise.
6. When cruising in the freeway, heat comes in through the vents.
7. braking from high speeds, grinding feel and noise from front brakes.
Since its a new model, I guess this is normal. Its been really reliable, just these little things are well a little annoying. lol

Some of that stuff is pretty typical, especially for a domestic muscle car. I noticed the same thing as your #6. Heat coming in from the floor.
Most of those things they should address under warranty, better chance if you have a cool dealer.

Yeah these cars seem to have their fair share of little problems. I've got insulation poking out from the trim on the driver's side door. Getting a rattle/noise out of a rear speaker. Some rattles coming from other parts of the car. Had to have the fuel pump TSB performed. Also have front end thunk from the strut mounts but haven't done anything about it.
Still like the car though.

^^^ yeah I love it too. Other car companies have small little problems too. I think most of us are picky too, cause most people dont pay attention to small little squeeks and rattles. Hell its not a 100k car. Funny thing, I got a ride in a new maserati and i found a rattle, LOL

Hey I have the heat coming from the vents when the windows are down issue too! It's so annoying. I usually have to turn on the fan and set it to vents (and cool temp setting but NOT A/C) to stop it.
I may ask my dealer about it next time I go in for an oil change.
