I have that problem as well and I took it in to get new brakes. The guys looked at it (Ford dealer) and said the brakes looked fine and it's just the ABS system that does that... 
It's beyond me why the ABS system would be making a grinding noise/feel with high speed light braking (mostly going down mountains)
Now I'm thinking it's hotspots from autocrossing.
