Default Rear Window Problem?

While looking at the rear window of my 08 GT I noticed what appears to be small holograms embedded in the window. It can only be seen when looking from the outside at a certain angle. Has anyone else noticed this and is this normal?

that's the downside to wearing polarized sunglasses. You see the checkerboard tint patterns in all the BMW's and most German cars easily. For some reason the Mustang's tint isn't really checkerboard patterns, but kinda blotchy. You can see it in your side windows too.
Covering your rear window with tint will resolve the issue, and is one of the first mods recommended. Don't bother tinting the rear side windows if you're just going to get louvers or covers for them.

They're subliminal messages from the CIA.
But really, I've always wondered about the 'holograms' as well.
