I have the gripper **** as well and it "grips" better than the "ball" but either are great and work well with the MGW. If you have the stock ball or the gripper **** from MGW ltd. then you have to order the threads for the stock shifter on checkout. If in question just call MGW.....great customer service and excellent products!
