i'm with you on this one rick. she is the owners daughter could get some real pull if she likes it. lmao. good idea though. have to wait and see. an hour to go.

thanks, that is a worry in the back of my head, but if they would have told me the correct amount when i was going to buy the car i would have walked away and gone to another dealer. i have already told the lady this so she knows i wouldnt have taken the car then. so im keeping my finger crossed and hopefully in the next hr to hour and a half i will have a resolution to this problem.

Seems to me they were pretty straightforward to begin with. They said the car had minor damage that they repaired. And that is the exact truth, it was minor damage and they repaired it. Doesnt really matter where the damage had occurred IMO. i am surprised they are giving you anything. I would take the stingers if anything and leave it at that. You can get them for 400 so that is worth it IMO for their mix up

hey guys just got back and the owner wanted to give me a yr worth of oil changes. i nicely explanded that i work at a dealer and change my own oil and only cost me $20. really dont get anything with that. said that i have always wanted a diff axlebacks for the exhaust system and that if he would be willing to put a set of frpp stingers on the car i would be just fine with that. and feel like i got some monetary compensation out of the deal. went and showed the parts manager the parts i wanted off of fordracing.com website and he called them and found out they are $489 to the dealer instead of $581 to us. the owner said because i was a nice young man and that my mom worked for ford that he could do this for me. so i am getting installed tomorrow a set of frpp stingers. got exactly what i wanted.
