I had the pypes off road X pipe installed and the next day i noticed something rattleing or i think it was a rattle all i know is that it was loud so i took it back and had ever thing re tightened and all that. So i decided to rip off the mac A/B and put on the stock muffilers but i still kinda hear it rattleing when i installed the muffiler i left one bold off on the hanger on the side aboce the muffiler can this be the cause of it. The reason i lefted it off is because it started to rain during the install and had to finish quickly and count do nothing with it raining.

 

Most rattles begin when we make an exhaust mod. Reason being the we have not only changed the sound but the harmonics as well. Removing the cats in favor of an off road application causes the exhaust note to resonate not only louder but longer. Some mufflers will do the same (we call it drone). Make sure that all of your brackets, hangers, clamps ect... have proper clearance and that nothing is touching or extremely close (remember that metal exspands when hot). This along with the possibility of something being loose is what causes vibration (rattle). Remember that sounds travels especially in / with metal. Hope this helps.
