I really like the way the 2008 Shaker head unit has the chrome rings around the ***** and have been thinking of upgrading. In doing some research I have noted some that have said that the 2008 unit has better performance.

Can someone explain how the 2008 unit is better?? Thanks.

 

I don't think its any different than before. We asked the head of the Mustang's team at Ford, he was giving our club a sneak peak of the 2010 Mustang, and he said the Shaker is the same as what's on the 05/09s.

Guess the other people who mentioned a difference may not have been correct. I am satisfied with the units performance. I just really love the classy look the added chrome rings bring to that center area of the dash.

From what I have found out its a simple swap with the only difference being an adapter to plug in the atenna. Thanks for the follow up.

 

i just removed mine from my new '08 and installed a NAV unit....if you're interested i would part with it....not sure where you're located....florida here

 

You need to see a Pioneer FH-P800BT installed. The blue lights of the display really compliments the blue instrument display. The best part, is the Pioneer head puts so much control and sound into the shaker speakers. It sounds 10 times better then the Shaker head.
