Do Bassani Street (not race) mufflers drone?

I have the street Bassanis.
They do drone,drive me nuts.
My car is a GT Auto,I find that when the drone bothers me if I turn off the overdrive it gets better.
Otherwize they are great sounding,I get compliments almost daily.
I now have about 10,000 miles on them and they are getting pretty loud.
My neighbor three doors away says that when I start up in the morning it is his signal to get moving,he hears it from inside my garage.

Sorry I don't have anything to add about the Bassani Mufflers but............

I have a neighbor buddy of mine that has a 98 cobra with spintech mufflers that serves the same purpose. It is a great sound to wake up to . My wife even listens out for him in the morning too .

Ugh. That's disappointing. I guess the hard facts are:

1) Beefy muscle car rumble produces drone

2) Subtracting the low frequencies to eliminate drone also eliminates beefy muscle car rumble.

No two ways about it.

Everything I've heard that doesn't drone much if at all (GTA's & Corsas) both lack that deep muscle car sound.

Heck, the stock full size Dodge pickup down the street sounds deeper & beefier than my car at idle & low speed. (Haven't heard the truck at WOT). But I know for a fact his truck drones like a SOB.

The GTAs sound pretty deep with LT headers. There's a video on youtube like that. It's a blue car with white stripes.

To get rid of drone you should just install 18" resonators before the axle. They will also clear up any trumpeting if you are getting that as well.

I am having some trumpeting problems with my new O/R H so I am putting in some resonators this week or next.
