I'd be willing to bet that those headers are no better than stock. When I do headers I'm getting BBK shorties

Well, they're cheap. And they look pretty much exactly the same as the BBKs. So, if you're intent on getting shorties for the sake of having shorties, I'd say go for it. Just don't expect much out of them. Sorta like the BBKs.

Sometimes I want shorties and sometimes I think oh screw the money I'm getting LT's. Is there a thread somewhere comparing all the LT's? Maybe a back-issue of some magazine?

shanec, I've been looking for dyno charts, and comparisons of exhausts for these cars (off and on) for some time. Granted, I don't have access to tons of magazines, but it seems most manufacturers don't even have dyno sheets for them. And, if you're selling a performance product that's made for a specific vehicle, I sorta expect you to test that on a vehicle and publish the results. This doesn't seem to be the case for most of these.

That said, I don't hold out much hope for the Magazines doing it either. Header installs (at least on these cars) are somewhat complicated and certainly time intensive. And to do a serious comparison would require many days of testing, and a lot of expensive hardware. Any headers that you're looking at, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer and asking if they have any dyno sheets to show the gains.

The only ones I've come across from manufacturers are JBA, and I think Dynatech for their mustang long tubes. Between this thread and this thread that's all I've been able to dig up on dyno charts. I may do some more looking soon. See if ARH or Kooks or anyone else has some yet.
