Seriously the depreciation as of late has been pretty sickening. People have been getting into brand new 08 GTs for less than $22,000. I paid almost that much for a used 06 with 4500 miles back in February.

The state of the economy, the crap car market, and the fact gasoline prices at least were real high have combined to drive the resale market values into the toilet.

I've been talking to my local dealer and the 08 GT's currently have a $5000 rebate on them. Add whatever else off and 22 to 23K is not out of the realm on reality right now. That is only a little more than used prices.

$10K for an 07 is fishey. Does it have an engine and tranny? Seats and a steering wheel?

If it's a side dealer then it's quite possible he will sell if for that price even with nothing being wrong with it. He's probably looking at it like this - if I don't sell it will just sit and do nothing. Don't forget the ECONOMY is horrible now a days and businesses will do anything to make a buck. Just get the CARFAX and if nothing comes up, jump all over it.

A glory run maybe. Good luck on reproducing that reliably.
