Default copper wheels

This is a pic of the car, looks better with the sun out and the copper stripe shining. Was thinking about talking to a chrome shop and seeing if they could black powder coat the lip of a gt 500 wheel and copper plate the spokes. Any thoughts? I don't think it would be a problem since one of the first steps of chroming is a copper plating. The gt gas cap will be copper plated also. Then maybe some bling on the inside.............yes copper. Magnacharger goes on in Dec. Maybe some copper cobras on the fender wells...............call it the TXCPRHD.

Yeah the Orange County Choppers guys clearcoated the Liberty Bike and that was all copper plated.

I think it's a really cool idea. I wouldn't do it on 18's though. I would show them off more with 20's. Doing the rim black is a bad idea though...that's going to blend into the tire and make your wheels look really small. I say do the whole thing in copper.

Yea it would have to be clear coated........didn't want too much copper..............maybe even copper rim with black spokes............if I went with a complete copper rim I thought something with thinner spokes.

uh be sure to just use copper PAINT and not real copper.

You don't want the bandits to steal your wheels for the copper, like the way they are stealing copper plumbing and wire from all the houses!
