I'm not a fan of the GT 500 wheels, I'd probably just find a wheel that was already close to the color you want. I like the idea though. I'd recommend maybe checking out some bronze wheels. They are a little darker most likely, but are somewhat easy to find. I had a set on my '03 WRX for a while that I thought looked cool. Heres an example of the color, ignore the wheel

looking for the weld wheels bc10, but they're damn expensive, calling the chrome shop on monday

Would have to see it first but I like the idea. I think black wheels with a copper lip would look good, but I would worry about the whole copper thieves too. But if its good enough copper paint, someones gonna think its real and steal it anyways, so I'd say go for it, and be the only person to be able to say they have real copper on their rims
