i actually like the look...i dont think chicken wire or mesh would look right...i wonder how black upper and lower billet grilles would look?

 

I ran without a lower grill for 6 months no problems and as others have said lots of people with the aggressive's no issues I've seen. That being said I like the look of my billet upper&lower grilles wayyyyyyy better, but I think if you put a nice big fmic there it would clean it up or cut out those vertical bars and paint the area flat black that would look even better

 

paint your AC condenser, I did and it looks way better.
