i had my keys stolen a few months back and i no longer have any key fobs. im wanting to get 2 so i can quit using the key to unlock the car and trunk, anyone know how much they are at the dealerships..(i hate asking that) or anywhere else?

 

I bought replacement fobs for my Ranger on ebay alot cheaper than dealer prices.

But you can also go with the Fusion key for 07's newer...I did mine, its alittle more spendy but I like only having to carry the key. Got it on ebay and Lowes cut it for free.

how hard was it to get them set up for your vehicle.

 

79 to program (one time fee can be used for as many keys as you want), 40 for the key fob (each)

I picked them up off eBay, too.

Way cheaper AND they were new in the wrapper.

You can get keys cheap, too.

 

i am selling an extra one. $25 shipped. just take to home depot to get key cut, then insert key into ignition and turn 8 times to program.

Hey GRABBER would that Fusion key work on an 05. Unless the alarm keyless entry system is different all our remotes look the same I think. Didnt see a difference when i browsed around. Would love to upgrade to that style.

 

Will that key work with my 05? If it will, and the OP doesn't buy it, I'll take it.
