I must say... i absoloutely love my msd 2 step! One of the best mods i have done to help my performance on the track.

Yes dont ever bounce off the stock limiter, either in gear or neautral. As stated you pull fuel so it goes lean which can cause detontation which means, bye bye engine.

MSD 2 step is a 2 stage limiter.

The first stage is in neautral and lets you hold an rpm by removing spark, which is safe.

The second stage is the high side, just like the stock limiter, but again pulls spark.

These are the kinds of limiters you want to have, and why I think this is a must have item even for a mostly street car.

I will say I have heard of a lack of quality control on these MSD boxs so inspect carefully and if it starts acting weird send it back.
