There is a air bag light to the right of it and a solid black non pushable button to the left of it.

You got left out. Sounds like a warranty item.

BTW, what happens when you wag the tail? Carefully try a donut in a parking lot. Do you get the TCS light in the dash (actually its a LED showing squiggly tire lines)? That would tell you that you at least have TCS on the car.

Weird, mine has the button, and it works, but the light in the dash never comes on. Fuse?

What do you meen by "warranty item'. I do have the light on the dash with the squiggly lines. That is why I am freakin out. I would rather not have it at all than have it and no way to turn it off.

the light should only come on when tcs is on and activated by you losing traction.

I heard of this before. Maybe on another forum, don't remember, but someone else also had this happen to them a while back. His car didnt come with the tcs button and he took it to the dealer and had them put one in. The wire for it is probably back there but they maybe just forgot to put the switch in at the factory or something.

That's just it...it DOESN'T come on, ever. You can punch it on wet pavement, hear the traction control working like it is supposed to, but no light. Turn the traction control off, and it will light up the tires.

Works like it is supposed to, but no light in the instrument cluster, even when losing traction.
