Default Lethal Performance 4:10 Gears

Why are their Ford Racing 4:10 gears so much more expensive than everyone elses? They have their's listed for $240 and everyone else has them for between $150-$180. Just curious.

That actually has nothing to do with it....

Lethal might be a little high on their pricing for the gears. 199 seems to be a going rate for the FRPP gears with number M-4209-G410A. Check some other vendors or call Jared up. They might match the 199 price that the other vendors are selling them for.

American muscle has them for $189.99 shipped & Sutton HP has M-4209-G410 for $149.99; not sure if that is shipped. What is the difference between the one ending in "A" versus no "A"? Sutton HP says they are Ford gears and not the Motive ones.

There are 2 different sets of 4.10 gears from Ford Racing. One ends in an A and the other doesn't. The A are the ones made in the US which are supposedly a higher quality gear and cost more then the ones which are the non A version.

Hope that helps. Jared

So if you can get 4.10s for like $200 how much would it cost to get installed, and how much would it improve my 1/4 times. I have the 3.55 now

Is this difference in quality between the "A" and non "A" ones proven or is it heresay? I guess you answered my question.
