And to the OP's question....it is not hard at all to paint your brake calipers. I disassembled the brake calipers and pad from the the rotors so I wouldn't get paint all over the place. I used brush-on caliper paint and didn't have any brush strokes either. I do have a few pink dots on my garage floor now....
adds a lil character to the garage, i have red spots on mine too. They look great!

I think most agree that after painting they look 100x better than the stock gray/silver blah. Red and black always look good

I think red is a great accent on a black car and black just makes then disappear, which is ok if thats what you want.

well it sounds like red is the way to go. i never planned on doing black since then they just disappear. so it was between red and yellow (since it wiuld be different and unique and possibly still look good with the wheels i have) Unless of course yellow would stick out too much and not look as good. Any opnions on yellow vs. red?

Btw, could someone photoshop my calipers with both red and yellow so i could see what they look like? Thx.

I still say if you're going to scrutinize the details to this degree, then you should REALLY get rid of the ORANGE turn signals.. the red calipers will match the red markers on rear though!

It's beoming a pet peeve of mine when I see S197s with orange turn signals clashing with the car's color even in MAGAZINES!

I say black. Mine were red then I repainted them black. I replaced the clear corners with smoked when I repainted the calipers even though with the flash from the camera you can't tell.

Hehe....I think these "orange" signals seem to go with the flow...

+100000000000

I think one of the edgiest things you can do to a stang, especially a dark-colored one, is switch in clear or smoked turn markers.
