Installed Bassani Longtubes?
Bassani Longtubes - check
Bassani O/R xpipe for LT's.....got it, not using it*
Bassani Catted X for LT's....on a UPS truck somewhere
I'm going to be installing this stuff in a few weeks. Got any install tips?
Did Bassani's seperate-pipes design mean you didn't have to jack up the engine or remove engine parts?
Any issues?
*Bassani O/R X for Longtubs will be posted for sale shortly. So will be my currently-installed Bassani Catted-X for stock manifolds (and shorty headers).

BTW, I am already second-guessing making the decision for LT's instead of shorties. With LT's I won't be able to return my tune to stock should I need to go to Ford for warranty work! Ugh.

I have no idea about Bassani LT's specifically, but with just exhaust work, LT's and o/r midpipe you can just turn off the rear O2 sensors and you'll be fine, probly get more power w/ a custom tune. i ran for months w/ just the canned tune turning off the rear O2's and it ran fine. putting in the exhaust will only negate the warranty on your exhaust and nothing else, like say your power windows break, they wont say bc you got headers your warranty is null and void. IMO LT's are well worth it, i would do it again in a heartbeat. besides warranty's are for suckers anyways.

the LT's shouldn't void anything but the exhaust... BUT he has to get a custom tune for them and can't return to a stock tune for warranty work, and a custom will void other things besides exhaust.

So maybe I could return the tune to stock, knowing ahead of time its going to throw a check engine light because it won't like the O2? And they dealer's gonna say "hey, you have a check engine light" and I'll say...."uh, I know..its the headers".

Wouldn't the exhaust valve be considered part of the exhaust? I'm mean, not literally, but it's possible. Something could happen to that valve, which would trickle down to the piston, con-rod, crank, and the rest of the block and heads. They could blame it all on the headers. Especially now that the Big-3 are hurting financially. Maybe I'm just thinking out my **** because I'm bored right now.
