I do think the rear is a step backward! I kinda like the front end, can't wait to see the Shelby in January!

I saw it in person today and yes, that rear really looks that way.

Not too crazy about it, but the new features are so much better. They took care of many issues of the earlier S197's and there are so many more options now.
Here's a few I saw today:
Sealed gas cap area, no more dirt in there
Stock chrome exhaust tips
18, 19 and 20" rims available from Ford, including black chrome and white! Yes, white!
Lockable center console
Bigger storage in the door (well not that much bigger...)
Full width radiator cover
repositioned parking brake
cover for the cup holders
available backup camera
MUSTANG door sills/ scuff plates that light up
Radio controls on the nicer steering wheel
sequential taillights
Factory installed louvers, decklid panels, wings, scoops, stripes, etc
Factory installed superchargers
Glassback roof option
interior trunk release
the list is very long!

Unhappy Would not buy a 2010

Would not buy a 2010 Mustang, No Way! I especially do not like the styling of the rear end. It is supposed to be retro styled not some wierd creation that does not look like anything retro. There were some classic Mustangs to take styling cues from but Ford's stylists blew it. Some people may like the 2010, whatever, but I myself I am sticking with the 2006 & 2007, may trade one of them for a 2009.

I think Ford finally decided to sell all those aftermarket parts people have been slapping on the S197! Why they waited so long I have no idea!

I think the supercharger is part of the Ford Racing Power package. I didn't see it on the Packaging Guide pdf file we have, but I was told it will be an available option when ordering a new Mustang, instead of how it currently is dealer installed

I definiely like the front end a lot better, however the back end I am not so sure of. I don't like the curve in the taillights and the bumper....Kinda reminds me of the backend of a Toyota Celica!! what were they thinking??!!
