Window tinting.
Does anyone know if the laws have changed concerning window tinting in Southern California? I know about eight years ago it was against the law to tint the front side windows. The only ones that could be tinted were the back and back side windows. Has this changed in the last few years. I don't want to get another ticket and be forced to remove the newly installed tinting again. I also had the lightest tint available so how dark the windows were wasn't an issue.

I didn't want to get hassled, so i settled for 35% (medium) on the sides, and 5% limo on the back and qtrs

I did 5% in the back and port windows and 20% on the door windows. I too like to take my chances. I've been driving my van around for 6 years with double limo tint in all windows including the front door windows... hehe. I've never been pulled over once. I was even sitting next to a cop at a light, he looked over at me and I knew damn well he couldn't see me in there. And my electric window was broke so I couldnt lower the window before he pulled up next to me. "Oh well" I told myself "if I gotta take it off, so be it." But he just let me be. So still I gamble and hope for the best in those etchy situations. In the meantime I enjoy the cool look & function of the darker windows.
what I dont get is most people like tent for th elooks and to cool the cars and if you have kids inside for when you leave them in the car with the windows rolled up in 120 degree temp.. but the point is.. who made that law and why cant we change it? I really dont know how or who passes these dumb a@@ laws.... I need to call my buddy arnold to fix this [sm=bs.gif]
