Default Header install

Has any one installed new headers on their 05. I have installed headers in the past but not on new cars. wondering how diff it is? Also checking on best/good headers for the 05 gt. Any input will be helpful.

Thanks.

Default RE: Header install

What I've found, from the research I've done and the people I've asked, JBA makes some really good, cat forward headers that will pass smog. I have no idea how difficult they are to install. They are also on back order for at least a couple of weeks. JBA had a minor design change lately to rectify some smog issues and they are a little behind in production. I should have the headers, an X pipe and flowmaster super 40s installed in a couple of weeks.

jba long tubes, off-road h-pipe, and evol exhaust...all i can say is holy crap...i have had so many comments from people saying that i have the best sounding mustang they have ever heard...also, unless you are quite car savy and have access to an car lift and know how to lift the engine, dont install them yourself. let someone else do it. it took my mechanic about 5 hours to do the whole thing and he has been working on mustangs for about 15 years now.
