Default Can the Windows be rolled down by remote?

I read the manual and it say's that the windows can roll up or down with the remote or with the key in the door. But only if you have active anti theft and your accesory delay (Stereo stay's on untill the door is open) is off. How do I turn the accesory delay off? I would love to roll my windows up or down with my remote . Can anyone Help?

my accesory delay works, and the remote controls windows down. Not up.
I have the alarm with motion sensor.
If someone even reaches in my car, without touching a thing it goes off.

Yes, the alarm sensor works in mine as well. Hit the unlock twice and hold and the windows go down. Insert the key, twist and hold and the windows go up.

I was told that it can be activated if you have it done by the dealer that you bought from at no cost.My car had a build date of 1/01/05 this feature works on mine but later dates it does not. For some reason ford deactivated this feature although it can be made active.

i think you can only activate it if it was built before a certain date.

Mine works. Didn't. Took delivery of the car on Feb 18, 2005. I do not believe the feature has been discontinued, no basis for that observation.

I went to the dealer, he gave it to his "computer guy" I was there a total of about 22 minutes. Function worked when I left. Had to turn on a module.

FYI. I had my cover on yesterday. Active Burglar alarm armed. Was taking it off at rear end first, right rear area. Didn't jiggle car much at all, burglar alarm went off! I was impressed!

Here ya go. It is a post from a few months back that tells how to have the dealership enable it. I would just print the link thread and take it with you to show them how to do it.
