Default Strange noise

I'm getting a strange noise that sounds almost like mild power steering groan when my car is idling. It only does it when the a/c comprssor cycles on and my car is in gear (automatic), causing the rpm to drop around 500 or 600 rpm. Sounds like maybe a bearing, but the noise goes away over 600 rpm.

Anyone ever encountered this? I can have my tuner bump up the rpm's, but I would rather isolate the problem.

Thanks.

Check your belt tensioner for slop or improper alignment from wear.

I get a chirp right after the starter disengages when I start my
stang in the cold morning hours. Belt squeek, it sounds like.
Just a slight chirp now that its cold out. And just on that first
start of the morning. Any ideas (hijack).
