Got my vert back from the paint shop!
Well, after much debate, I decided to go for it and have stripes painted on my vert. I was unsure how much I would like it, but wow, I think it turned out great...let me know what you think. I spent all day yesterday doing the Zaino thing and the paint is like glass now. This was my first time using the Zaino product and I'm sold. I would highly recommend it. Next up...performance mods [sm=happy046.gif]

Looks really good. I'm not a big fan of the vert, but with her top off and the color combo/interior it looks sick. Congrats.
Did you replace your floor mats, or did it come with black?

stripes hit me for just under $1,200. But I paid a little more to have a top paint shop do the work.

WOW with these pictures I wont need **** for the next day or two. Great Job!!!
OK a couple of questions.
This may sound stupid but you had the stripes done plus a clear coat all under 1,200.00 correct?
How did you work out the spacing, and the thickness of the stripes?
Thanks in advance

Looks great- do you know how they did the stripes? Did they have to strip the clear coat and base coat off then paint and clear coat or did they just paint over the top of your original paint and then clearcoat?

thanks for the comments....let me see if I can answer your questions...
Yep...$1,200 for the whole deal...paint, clear coat. My only decision on the stripes was the width of the stripes, 10". I gave the painter free reign on the details. I saw his work on other mustangs and was blown away. I'm really not sure how he prepared the car for the stripes, but there is absolutely no ridge or seam that can be felt. The stripe seems to float in the silver paint. My guess is he stripped the clear coat, painted the stripes and then clear coated to create the seamless finish. I hope this helps.
