I thought I would share some pictures I took of the new Kenwood DPX503 head unit. It works a lot like the my color feature on our Mustangs. You can customize the colors on all of the displays and buttons separately or even have change on their own or with the music (too busy for me) You can even customize what information is shown on the display. It sounds great too.......

Looks cool. I've been looking for a new head unit (f-ing shaker 500), but I've mainly been looking at Pioneer. Will have to look into the Kenwoods.

I picked it up new on ebay for about $240 + shipping. Not to hard to istall if you ever put a stereo in before.

what about the ipod jack..does that get affected? ?

It does have front a USB input for flash drives and an aux input. If you plug an Ipod in the USB you can even control it with the H/U!
