Default First oil change...

I also use and highly recommend Mobil1.
I have been using it in everything with a motor since 1978.
As for oil filters, here is a link that has some interesting reading!

dino oil and motorcraft filter FTW, oil change intervals are based on how good the filter is rather then the oil itself.

If you are doing the oil change yourself. You need a 16mm socket for the drail plug. See TocaBills write up.

IMHO forget the ramps and get a floor jack and jack stands. 2 ton jack will do. This way you can also rotate your tires. While the oil is draining, swap the front tires. Driver to passenger side and passenger to driver side. After the oil change is completed, and the car is back down off the jack stands. (NEVER get under a car with only a jack, ALWAYS use jack stands). Jack up one side of the car. Use the floor jack for the front and the jack that came with the car for the rear. Then swap front tire to back and back to front. Repeat for other side. Also also block the wheels that are not being jacked up. See owners manuel.

As for Oil and Filter, good Quaity +10000 Motorcraft 5W20 Sync Blend, Castol 5W20 Sync Blend are good oils. +100000000 on the Mobile One Oil Filter.

And a complete engine rebuild while you're at it...

The ramps vs. jack-and-stands is your choice. IMO, ramps are safer. I let the shop rotate only because they're pulling the wheels to balance them anyway. Any shop that charges me to rotate in addition to a balance gets a blast of chit...

spending money on a tire rotation is probably the BIGGEST waste of moeny someone can do for maintence.

Well they should still be rotated front to back on the same side.

It's about Oil change. and every thing else.

Engine rebuild????? HAHAHA

As for ramps safer then jack stands. HUH????? once the car is up and in place either is fine. Getting the car, ramps you got drive over the end. Jack could fail, maybe. But with jack and jack stand easier to work on the rear end the to back up a ramp.
