Hey guys anyone pulled off and painted their "GT" badges? I'm blacking out my lights and want to paint my emblems too. I can't find black ones to buy online. What kind of paint would you use? Thanks!

 

I here you, I painted mine with a few coats of matte black .

did mine as well sry no pics but looks exactly like degeze's just removed it and hit it with multiple coats of matte black and its held up well for a couple of months now.

i did mine in black but didn't take the emblems off.. just taped off the car very carefully. saved me a lot of work and it's actually pretty easy. the tape slides right in between the letters and the car if you look closely...

you should be able to use just standard spray paint found at any automotive store

 

I like it. I think I'll do it. Has anyone out there high lighted the lines in the GT with the paint of their car? I think that might look pretty cool also. I think I'll do mine with matte black and tungsten grey lines. A black glossy paint might look good on black GT's. Cool, this maybe the cheapest mod yet for me.
