Thanks for the compliments, I think it turned out well.
During removal, I ended up cracking on of the emblems so I went to Ford and bought 2 new ones. So I actually painted them off of the car.

MustangMan64: I am in Smyrna.

TAMPAGT07: It's funny that you say that, I have been throwing around the idea of painting the line inside the GT red to go with my suspension or gunmetal to match my wheels but not sure yet.

I think I'll do mine with matte black and tungsten grey lines. A black glossy paint might look good on black GT's. Cool, this maybe the cheapest mod yet for me.
TampaGt07 this is Tampa07Gt

Now say that fast 10 times.

Hey Tim....My GT Badges have red inside the lines. I believe that my rear badge has some red accents also.

To Tampa07gt- Bro, I am sorry, I am bordering on patent infrigement. Have youir lawyer contact mine, I'm sure you are due some royalties. LOL.

To wthalliii- LOL..Auctually there is also the $5 cromie tire valve caps, the $7 shortie Autozone 14" antenna, and yes the $2 Black Fuzzy Dice (the cheapest mod to date). And I have grown to love all of them equally.

I pulled mine off to do it.

First I wet sanded the chrome with 1000 grit sand paper. Bought my paint at O'Rielly's, Duplicolor spray primer and satin black.

Gave it 2 coats of primer and 3 light color coats.

I really like the satin black. It's not shiny but looks better than matte black IMO.

I have a new set I bought from Ford that I'm going to inline with grabber orange to match the car. Decided to get the extra set so I could take plenty of time with them.
