Please help me make my new car choice
2008 V6 GT66 (GT 66 is cool appearance package with dual exhaust body kit and wheels on a V6 deluxe mustang only 250 made) Torch red. (i like it and could somewhat easily afford it)
2009 V6 Premium Black with leather and uplifter package (i absolutley love it but it would be harder to afford but it could be done) Or i wait a year and maybe get a used GT what do guys suggest i cant make up my mind |
GT, you'll be happy you waited.

+1 on the GT. Go test drive a V6 and a GT and if you like the extra power and performance then go for the GT. And in a year from now there'll probably be a bunch of used ones in the lots cuz of the new 2010 sold. Maybe even some with some mods. Once you drive a GT you won't want anything else.

I also say get the GT. How much are the new v6's going for? You can get a nice GT with 10k or less miles on it for around 18k. I got a V6 while my dad has a GT, and its like night and day. We are now looking to trade in my V6 for a used GT. Theyre just a better deal for me in the long run. Plus you cant beat that V8 sound ;)

I like the look of the mustang the power doesnt matter for a couple reasons
1. The insurance for me would be insane im 18 2. I am a speed freak and would most likely cause me problems having power 3. Im impatient 09 New premium black V6 with uplifter package, leather and all power 08 used GT66 V6 6000 miles its a deluxe mustang basically with body kit and dual exhaust I really like the 09 but i can afford the 08 easier and i like it alright my question is shoul i follow my heart or my wallet |

You can't go wrong with a stang whether you get the v6 or the v8 :). Both have their pros and cons. Get the one that fits your budget best and has all of the features you want. I like my sixxer. It responds well to bolt ons and is pretty fun to drive after doing some minor mods. As much as I like my sixxer, I would have preferred a GT. I was 18 when I got my stang and got the v6 because it was easier for me to afford.
There are endless parts and mods for both the GT and V6 so its hard to get bored with either car. Once you start feeling bored there is always a mod you can do that will make your car look better or be even more fun to drive. |
gt +1

Umm...the sig pic says it all my friend! Don't waste your time or money with a V6!

Get a GT convertible auto, it's as slow as a v6 pony package manual with a tune. I've driven them back to back
The GT convertible has significantly more modability resale value and respect than the v6. PM me if you want me to find you such a car in your budget. I find people cars on commission at least once a month so i know where to look. If financing is an issue talk to your bank. |
