Exclamation C&l Racer

Just wondering If My C&l racer intake will work with an off road xpipe and do u need a custom tune for it to work right or can u just edit the preloaded tunes that come with the tuner?

I think you can edit a custom tune and turn off the O2 sensors. If not you can still run around until you can get another tune, all that will happen is your check engine light will come on.

Or you can just buy some Mil Eliminators to turn off the check engine light.

your c&l intake MUST be tuned or your car will keep doing the same thing or just not start!

when you get it tuned, because you will have too, have the tune shut off the rear o2 sensors........the untuned c&l is obviously the problem...tune it!!!

My SCT tuner instructions say something about disconnecting fuses before loading a tune onto the car? Is that really neccessary? Could that be part of the problem here?

it could be, they have been many stories about fuses getting blown while trying to install the tune.

Someone else told me that i should get new spark plugs and then it would run ok or there might be a short in my system somewhere.
