ok so I just bought the kenwood dnx5120 an will be here this weekend an I can't wait but I was reading about how u can install it so I can watch movies an use my gps without having to stop an change the movie or use my gps. has anyone done this an if so can how do I go about doing it bc I realy would like to do this so I don't have to stop everytime to change the movie or use my gps to go somewhere.

Not sure but, I think you take the wire that hooks to the e-brake and just ground it somewhere else. Someone please back me up on this right or wrong.

I've put that wire on a switch, I have to turn it on off on off and on for some reason. but once I do that sequence it works.

do a google on DNX5120 bypass. You should find what you need. I have the pioneer AVIC F90. on that one i had to move a wire on the harness that plug in to the unit and ground 1 or 2 wires. It was way more involved then most usually all you have to do is send the Park Brake wire to GROUND not NOT 12v + Some people put a switch in some dont

AVIC411.com might have some info to help you out
