Default Danger in getting Dyno'd??

I'm going to get my car dyno'd next weekend and I just wanted to know if there were any safety issues. I've heard of people blowing stuff but that's mostly for F/I. Any comments??

if your car is running well and you have
a good a/f ratio, everything will be fine.

if you think your tune is lean, tell the dyno
tester to end the run if he hears pinging....

You'll be fine dude, bolt-on's aren't going to blow your motor on the dyno. If you have F/I, and are going in to get a tune because your car is way off, then you should be a bit more worried.

Good luck with the #'s.

275-290. The shorty antenna gives you 5 hp!
Post up your results when you are done!

No worries if the car is running right now. Have the tuner watch and listen for knock retard and pinging....

Thanks man, the turn signals are just tinted with some autozone 5% tint. $20 + 30 minutes of work with a razor blade and a water bottle for both turn signals and the 3rd brake light in the back.

Exactly - that is the real danger in getting your car dynoed. You may make less HP than you had hoped for and then it's spend, spend, spend to compensate!
