Default Battery Tender?

There are so many different kinds with different voltage and amps. What do I need for my Mustang?

I have used the batter tender jr on my mustang since day one. It has never failed to keep my battery fully charged and ready to go. I have not seen any reason to spend the extra money for the plus or even regular battery tender.

However, Battery tender makes great products so whichever one you choose you'll be happy with.

I agree jz but the plus is designed for outdoors or marine applications and I cant be responsible for what may or may not just happen to fall onto the equipment itself. I do have a beer or 2 when working on the car and sometimes the car has the battery tender on while I work. Accidents happen and the moisture in the air was grounds for me to buy it. Working flawlessly for the past 3 yrs!

Thanks guys! Should I go with a 12v?
Right now my car has to sit outside the garage with a car cover on it, so this will be safe?

^Yes. I've been using one for my bikes for years. I drive the car year round. I even put two 12v bike batteries on at the same time. Good investment.

Hey guys, my car stays garaged. Which would you recommend, the Jr. or the Plus?
Am I correct by saying I can plug this thing in the wall, connect it to the posts and leave it on until I drive the car?

I only drive my Mustang Maybe 2-3 times per month.
Thanks,
