forget the lawyer. go back to the original dealer, be reasonable, don't threat or holler, just *kindly* work a good deal on a new rear. it's in your best interest, convince them it's in their best interest as well. maybe they'll throw it in for half or something.

Slightly off topic -
I have to take mine in for the airbag recall - been putting it off because i have CAI and tunes in. Am I gonna get crap if I leave it on? I know best advice will be to remove it but I don't wanna deal with it if I don't have to.

I bought the car in another state and have never had it to a dealer for service yet so I don't really have a "home" dealer. Anyway I can tell if a dealer is more mod-friendly than another? Guess I could just make a call and speak with service advisor?

sue the bastards; they deserve it.
don't go to any kind of arbitration alone; that was my mistake.
get a lawyer to send a threatening letter (minimal cost) that should do it. If not, buy a new rear end and take them to court for the expense, maybe small claims court if dollar amount is low enough. You gotta replace the stuff anyway.

makes sense because the lawyer can argue that Ford promotes performance use and.....they should have known that the 7.5 inch was inadequate.

Default ford's attorney

They probably have an arrangement with a local firm to handle theses kinds of things. They sent some junior attorney down to kick my *** at the lemon law hearing. Never the less, I am sure it cost them more for that attorney than it would have cost them to fix the damn car.
