Bullitt Mustang?
I was wondering on other opinions on the 2008/2009 Bullitt Mustang. I have read that people are getting them way below sticker ( around $27,500). I have a 2006 Mustang Gt Redfire which I love but I wanted to get something that is more limited in production and unique. I have been wanting to trade my auto in for a manual anyways and thought this might be the time.

Shawn,
Welcome. I would suggest driving one. They are way different than the early GT's were. Don't get me wrong, I would not trade my 05 for the world, mainly because I have too much blood, sweat, and tears in it. That said, I sure am glad that my wife is a car gal, and set her sights....(no pun intended) early on, on the Bullitt.....In no particular order, the standout differences are....
Factory CAI and tune
Improved suspension
Improved braking
Improved shifter
Improved clutch
More interior options
Sneaky quick
You should, however, be able to do better on the price than what you listed....times are tough. And, they do qualify for employee pricing.....
Hope it helps...

I am not a fan of the Bullit at all but you just need to decide if that is the car you really want; because they are a limited production with a very specific theme I really don't think that they should have much done to them as far as aftermarket upgrades. Good Luck!

Thanks for the input I guess I'll call my broker and see what he can do. The only thing that might ruin the deal is what he will give me for my car. It only has 5,300 miles on it but I think it might be hard to sell it on my own and the dealers will kill me.

I know what Ford was tring to accomplish with the car what with the stealth look dating back to McQueen and all but it looks "unfinished" to me and exclusivity be damned, the upgrades over a standard GT just don't warrant the price hike. If you like it though go for it, I'm sure it's a fine automobile...
