I hear ya. That's a shame, I just don't want to pay 400 bucks and start hacking on it for my next project, that you also pointed out to me. If they made the whole console and the cover for the radio/climate control, I would have to seriously think about it though.

obviously the wood grain looks like poo, but what about this one:

I've been thinking about getting this, combined with the screaming yellow and gloss black console and dash (currently being painted) and black leather shift/ebrake/armrest covers with yellow stitching. Think that would look bad too? I have to think it would be much easier to powershift too

I like it, I have the MGW shifter with the Hurst Pistol Grip custom painted white with red lettering. I really like the way it shifts, every gear just pops in with no effort.

Although the rest of the interior is sick (and giving me serious inspiration currently - mine has the same base colors), I'm waiting for the dueling banjos to start playing every time I look at that RIDICULOUS shifter!!!

i had one exactly like that, except it was all metal. it looked pretty badass, and it felt amazing to shift with too.
