What's the best place to look for 4.10's?

Personally, I think the Motive are every bit as good, maybe even better made than FRPP. The noise issues were actually with Reichert Racing gears a bit back. Most of the time that can be corrected with proper shimming.

They don't list those as fitting the 2005... is there a difference in the rearends between 2004 & 2005?

They also show a 3.90 ratio ( http://www.mustangtuning.com/motive390.html )... if those fit, that may be a good alternative between 3.73 & 4.10... hmmm... decisions, decisions.

Dear Don W,

I value your opinion, so let me know how you like the 4.10s with your automatic???

As you know, I too am running an auto in my stang...

Will the 4.10s help or hurt if I supercharge???

Already flashed w/Predator and Steedy CAI...

Thank you in advance for your opinion...

Dave

I think td1320 can already give us some feedback... everything I've read from him seems positive.

troden... is yours an auto?

With 4.10s and a supercharger, that will be one quick bat-outta-hell... at least that's my plan!

It's a manual. I am waiting on the supercharger as I have been told that the rings will crumble at 10,000 miles or there about. I did see in MMFF that stated the stainless steel rings were not the best choice when adding a SC. I am leaning toward the Saleen as is produces the least amount of boost....

As for the gas milage with 4.10's, If I was worried about milage, I would have bought a toyata!
