did you find the polished alum rims yet? found this thread, the rims are sold already but apparantly you can order them from ford.

^^^^He has the 18" Bullitts that came stock on the gt/cs. His wheels are 18x8.5

A 255/45/r18 would fit perectly. If you upgrade to a better tire you will see a nice improvment in traction. The BFG KDWS that you have now is an all season tire. By switching to a summer tire such as a Nitto NT555 or BFG KDW2 you will see a noticeable improvement in traction.

ok well the most reasonable solution i am hearing is 255/45 ZR18

i get that summer tires help with road traction, but sometimes i go up north in the winter

what am i trading off for the dry traction?

Yes but like I posted earlier..... many manufacturers show that a 275/40 will work just fine on a 8.5" rim. A 255/45 would probably look better because it will have less sidewall bulge. The wheels I have on my car below are 8" and I put 245's on it. I remember I could have put up to 265's on the wheel but was worried about rubbing.

John-

there is no matching rim wider (I've looked for 2yrs) you can get a 275/45/18 tire from about 5 companies that is approved for a 8.5" rim. 255/45s work well to (on my fronts) or 265/40 on my rears (DRS) or if you want a beefy look M&H makes a 275/45/18 DR
