How can I find a cars location by the windows sticker?
So as I am trying to buy my car the dealers are sending me window stickers of vehicles. Is there a way to find out where the car is located by this sticker? There are a ton of numbers on it and none that seem to relate to a zip code or anything familiar.
I have noticed that there are state abbreviation letters near the top which may be an indicator of where the car is located (PA, MI, etc...) There is a number right next to this that Im guessing is the dealership # but am not sure if it is or how to look it up.
Any thoughts?

My sticker has the dealerships name on the bottom edge.
Destination or Sold To or something like that.
Are they the actual pictures of the sticker or
Ford generated PDFs that look like Window Stickers?
Ask the dealer who is sending you these window
stickers where the vehicle is located. Or is he trying
to add on a finders fee?
cars.com would be a place to search and match up VINs
to locations.

in a word: NO.
The window sticker, which is required on all new cars, only shows the Dealer number and address of the place it was first sold to. It's on the bottom left hand side.
Since dealers trade cars all the time there is no guarantee the car is still at the dealer listed on the page.
To find out where the Mustang is located why not ask the salesman???

The dealership I went to didn't have a manual in Vista Blue with the options that I wanted. They called to their sister store across the bay, they had one just like I wanted sitting on the car carrier.
Even though I bought it from one store, on the bottom left hand side of the sticker you will see, SOLD TO.
